Introduction to Jewish Folk Tradition (Mini Course)

In this course, we will: 

• Define Jewish Folk Tradition. 
• Discuss Biblical and Talmudic precedent. 
• Discuss core practices and the practitioner's toolkit. 
• Defining the ayin hara and how one can shield oneself from it. 
• Discuss how contemporary practitioners can reclaim and integrate folk tradition today.

Students will be granted access to the module for this course and our online community (chavruta).
